Recently I took a job requiring me to live away from my kids during the week. This would never have been possible without video chat. We brush our teeth, choose clothes, and eat cereal together each morning. Each night, we hang out and catch up on how the day went. Occasionally, I will help them with their homework. It may seem counter-intuitive, but we actually have deeper conversations than we do when we’re together in person.
